Judith Ann (Bevington) Martin

April 9, 1943 ~ August 11, 2023 (age 80) 80 Years Old

Obituary

Judith Ann Martin, 80 of Millersburg, passed away August 11, 2023, and is at peace after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia.

Judy was born April 9th, 1943, in Lakeville, Ohio to Earl C. and Lessie L. (Gray) Bevington. She was a graduate of Nashville High School.

Judy held various jobs throughout her life, but truly enjoyed working at Annat’s department store in Wooster and for Dr. William Powell. She would always lend a hand to others and enjoyed movies, music, travels to the mountains and the beach. Her love for animals was evident as there was always a stray animal that found their way into her home.  Her biggest enjoyment was her family, who will miss her immensely.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Martin (Brett Stevens); granddaughter Savannah Stevens, both of Millersburg; nephew Buck (Pat) Walton; great niece Kristi Walton and great-great niece Pyper Walton all of Lakeville.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marie Walton and beloved canine Sam.

Per Judy’s wishes, there will be no calling hours and a private interment.

For those who wish to honor Judy’s memory, the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, your local animal shelters, the Parkinson’s Foundation, or the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help win the fight against these debilitating diseases.
