John Robert Maxwell, age 86, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 5th, 2025 at Danbury of Millersburg, following a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.

John was born on March 27th, 1938 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Horace and Alathea (Fisher) Maxwell. He married Joy Elaine Smith and she preceded him in death on January 3rd, 2017. He was a member of the Millersburg Methodist Church.

John is survived by his two sons, John Todd Maxwell and Brad Alan Maxwell; seven grandchildren; and his sister, Cindy McDowell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard Maxwell.
