JoAnne was born February 4, 1928 in Glenmont, Ohio and was the daughter of Walter and Esther (Lang) Starner. She married Norman "Jack" Morris and he preceded her in death.
JoAnne was employed at Rice and Chadwick, Regal Ware, and Castle Nursing Homes for many years at each.  She was a member of Union Grove Church of Christ. JoAnne was loved by many. She “mothered’ many people in her life other than her own children such as her younger siblings and grandchildren.  She was the toughest person many of us knew. JoAnne was one of those people who seemed to manage to live several lives in one lifetime. She was secretly the favorite aunt, cousin, sister, grandma of many. JoAnne loved horses and dogs. She was a wonderful cook and candy maker.  She showed her love to family and friends by feeding them.  You never wanted to show up at her house with a full belly because she would insist you eat something anyways.
She is survived by her son, Tommy "Tucker" Morris; grandchildren: Brett Morris, Bridget Morris, Samantha Weber, and Megan Morris; great grandchildren: Cory Morris, Jasi Weber, and Laini Weber; and brothers and sisters; Nancy Lutz, Ann DeHass, Charles "Mick" Starner, Bob Starner, and Jack Starner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman "Jack" Morris; son, Joe Morris; two brothers, Donald Starner and John Starner; a sister, Charlene "Jane" Markey; and a great grandchild, Kimber Jacob Weber.
