Jesse E. Sampsel 47, of Clark, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord, October 1, 2025, at Aultman Hospital, following complications from diabetes.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday October 7th at Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Rowe officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Jesse was born July 17, 1978, in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Perry and Janet (Farver) Sampsel. He married Jennifer Maurer on September 27, 2007, and she survives. Jesse was a proud truck driver and enjoyed listening to old county music. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and most of all he loved his children and family.

Surviving in addition to his wife Jennifer, are his children, Curtis, Olivia, Garrett, Shelby, bonus daughter Ashlee Crider; sisters Cherie (Butch) Miller, Bev (Tom) Woods; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends he considered family Amber and Andy Dunmire.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
