Jennifer Lynn (Sundheimer) Christner, 73, of Walnut Creek, Ohio, passed on to be with the Lord Friday, April 10, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her father Clyde Sundheimer, mother Mary Margaret (Groff) Sundheimer, stepmother Mary (Stutzman) Sundheimer, brother Scott Sundheimer, son-in-law Trent Goings and maternal and paternal grandparents. 

She is survived by her husband Paul Christner, her daughters Heather (late Trent) Goings, Adrianne (Michael) Bryk, grandchildren Jasmine Goings, Sasha (Lucas) Mast, Lilly Goings, Madisynn (Garrett) Miller, great grandchildren Mateo, Rylee, and soon to come Reya. Sisters Lauri (John) Kline, Shelly (Allan) Miller, Melissa (George) Herrera, and Rhonda (Ed) Scamman. Many nieces and nephews plus so many more as Jen’s table was open to all. 

Jen loved plants and her green thumb was legendary. And sunshine—so much sunshine. Sitting on her porch and on the beach when she could, basking in the sunshine was something she craved. She was a creative in the truest sense and loved reusing and gathering old pieces and making them new.

She loved God and all his glory, and along with her husband Paul who was always by her side, she cherished her daughters and granddaughters. Watching them have and grow their own families was one of her greatest treasures.

At the end of her life she placed a mission on her entire family, The Tribe of Clyde, to reach out to the world in many and varied ways. 

Calling hours are Thursday, April 16 at Mercy Hill Church Berlin 4385 US 39 Millersburg, OH 44654 from 5-7 P.M. A Celebration of Life will also take place at Mercy Hill Berlin Friday, April 17 at 11 A.M. There will be a private family burial.
