James Sager Obituary

James V. Sager, age 75 of Shreve, Ohio passed away Thursday morning, May 14th, 2020 at his home surrounded by family.

James was born May 7th, 1945 in Canada. At the age of 14 he became a US citizen. He married Joyce Compton and she preceded him in death March 2nd, 2013.
James was a retired truck driver, after working 40 years for Ford Motor Company. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Germany. James was a member of the Shreve American Legion. He loved metal detecting, guns, and attending storage auctions. He always kept himself and others busy.
He is survived by three children, Vanessa Charles and Mark (Brenda) Mullins both of Shreve and Flesia Cornwell of Michigan; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a cousin, Cathy who lives in Canada.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Lida; second wife, Joyce; a son, James Cornwell; and a granddaughter, Patty Mullins.
