Jackie "Maw" Mills

Jackie "Maw" Mills, age 56, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, November 2nd, 2021.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 13th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Randall Keffer officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Wilmot, Ohio. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Jackie was born February 14th, 1965 in Princeton, West Virginia and was the daughter of Hobert and Veda Mae (Bailey) Mills.

Maw enjoyed the friends and family she met throughout her 25 plus years career in EMS. While living in Lashmeet, West Virginia she attended Lashmeet Community Freewill Baptist Church with her daughters. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sitting on her porch watching the wind-chimes and taking country drives looking at the leaves as Fall was her favorite time of year. Jackie was a kind, loving person that worried more for others than she worried for herself. She enjoyed cooking, playing candy crush and working puzzles on her computer, cheering on her son-in-law during his racing days at the dirt track and reading the Bible her sister Lucy gave her to her grandkids. She dearly loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed by them all.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Corey) Mills of Millersburg, Ohio; her grandchildren; a sister, Lucy (David) Rogers of Roanoke, Virginia; two brothers, Jimmy (Nichol) Mills of Troutman, North Carolina and Charlie (Lou) Mills of Statesville, North Carolina; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ethel Shrewsbury and Vacie Crum; two brothers, Doc Mills and Allen Mills; and her daughter, Kayla Marie Bell.
