Harriett M. (Parks) McCune of Millersburg, Ohio passed away on September 7, 2024 at Majora Lane Care Center.

She was born in Kokomo, Indiana on March 22, 1940 to Donald and Dorothy (Darr) Parks. On September 15, 1956 she married Lester C. McCune who passed away in September of 2012.

Harriett is survived by three daughters: Vickie (Ted) Wolford of Upper Arlington, Valerie (Charlie) McFadden of Millersburg and Tammy Miller of Millersburg; six grandchildren: Jeremy (Starla) Hughes, Brett (Kate) Hughes, Hilary (Branden) Wallace, Tel (Sarah Krock) Vaughn, Tacy (Jay) Beachy and Adam (Leayh Abel) McFadden; and eight great-grandchildren: Keegan and Ewan Hughes, Christopher, Meghan and Andrew Wallace, Parker and Leighton Ranalli and Jillian Beachy. Harriett is also survived by one brother, Mel (Vickie) Parks and one sister, Jan Kerr both of Killbuck, Ohio; and by her close friend, Floyd VanSickle.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents and her in-laws; by three sisters: Barbara Saulters, Kaye Libasci and Geneva Whelan; and one great-grandchild, Rennan Beachy.

Her family would like to thank all the staff at Majora Lane Care Center for their love and care of Harriett during her stay there.

As per her wishes there will be no calling hours or service. Cremation has taken place. Alexander Funeral home is assisting the family.
