Harold E. Conkle, age 86, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. 

Private graveside services will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg, Ohio. 

Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Crossroads Hospice. 

Harold was born December 22, 1937 in Becks Mills, Ohio and was the son of Roy and Esther (Ames) Conkle. On February 14, 1959 he married Audrey M. Hewitt, and she survives. 

Harold was a former Insurance Adjuster and worked 45 years at Progressive Chevrolet in Massillon as a body shop manager. He was a member of the Sugarcreek United Methodist Church. Harold enjoyed taking care of his yard and garden, woodworking, and he loved attending the sporting events of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Surviving in addition to his wife, are two children and their spouses: Stan (Tamie) Conkle of Holmesville, Ohio and Rhonda (Jim) Aquino of Massillon, Ohio; five grandchildren: Ashley (John) Porter, Brooke (Jamey) Allison, Hunter (Renee) Conkle, Brittany Gerber (Jeff) and Brek (Susan) Gerber; and eight great grandchildren: Cole and Rylee Porter, Cash, Colt and Cannon Allison, and Preslee, Harlee and Nash Conkle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wayne Conkle.
