Grace "Sis" Tedrow

Heaven gained a beautiful angel when Grace “Sis” Tedrow, also known as Grandma Gorgeous, age 80 of Millersburg, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Park Village, Dover,
Ohio following a short illness.

Memorial services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Kenneth Smailes officiating. Burial will take place in Centennial Cemetery in Pennsylvania. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Sis was born September 29, 1940 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Alfred “Cookie” and Hester (Ranoals) Spurgeon. On June 15, 1958 she married Benjamin Tedrow and he preceded her in death in 1982.

Sis was a restaurant owner for 20 years and worked 10 years at Hawkins Market. She was a member of the Killbuck Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary, Millersburg American Legion
and the Card Ladies Club. She survived by two children, Benjamin Tedrow II and Teresa (Tedrow) McQueen; grandson, Joshua (Lindsay) McQueen and their children, Jace and Jaelyn of West Lafayette; grandson, Travis (Kelly) McQueen and their child, Brevin of Millersburg; granddaughter, Megan (Mandie) McQueen and their children, Mady, Aubri and Carson of North Canton; and grandson, Benjamin Tedrow III and his child, Eleanor of Applecreek. She is also survived by brother and sister-in law Robert G. (Doris) Spurgeon; special friends, Steve and Dawn Gamertsfelder; and special daughter-in-law, Lee Ann Tedrow.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth “Tuff” and Linda Spurgeon; and son-in-law, Terry McQueen.
