Gordon Guthrie Obituary

Gordon R. Guthrie, age 94, of Coshocton, Ohio passed away Monday, February 15th, 2021 at Lafayette Point, West Lafayette, Ohio following a period of declining health.
Gordon was born July 20, 1926 in Clark, Ohio and was the son of Merton and Helen (Mullet) Guthrie. He married Mary Jane Mullett, and she survives.
Gordon was a 1944 graduate of Clark High School. He was self-employed owning Guthrie Cabinets. Gordon previously attended Clark Presbyterian Church. He was a 32nd degree Mason and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Mary Jane Guthrie are his son, Greg (Carla) Guthrie of Coshocton; two grandchildren, Geoff (Jenna) Guthrie of Charleston, South Carolina and Grant (Ashley) Guthrie of Coshocton; five great-grandchildren Annalynn, Maddox, Saige, Camden and Anders; and two brothers, Tom (Linda) Guthrie of Wooster and John (Connie) Guthrie of Smithville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ed Guthrie, Jim Guthrie, Annabelle Vergon, Gary Guthrie and Bob Guthrie; and two sons, Michael Guthrie and Douglas Guthrie.
