Gerald Miller, 80 of Berlin, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 after a brief illness. 
 
He was born on April 19, 1943 in Berlin, OH to Wellman D. and Ida M. (Crilow) Miller. He graduated from Hiland High School in 1961 and married his high school sweetheart, Peggy (Kaser) Miller on April 19, 1962; they had been married 61 years. 
 
In 2008 he retired from Berlin Wood Products where he worked for over 20 years. More recently, he was a driver for Pioneer Trails.
 
Gerald was a lifetime member of Martins Creek Mennonite Church where he served on the visitation team. He enjoyed visiting residents at Walnut Hills, volunteering for Hospice, and was a volunteer with the Holmes Co. Court Guardianship Program. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to being a frustrated, yet avid Cleveland sports fan, you could find him supporting his children and grandchildren in any and every activity they were involved in.
 
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Vince (Shelly) Miller of New Philadelphia, Vicki (Jay) Conn of Mt. Hope, and Kris (Matt) Flinner of Millersburg; grandchildren, Kimberlyn (Dillon) Farrow, Nick (Lexi) Miller, Jenna Miller, Brady (Courtney) Conn, Whitney (Kody) Miller, Chloe Conn, Jesse Conn, Emrick Flinner, Abbie Flinner, and Sophie Flinner; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Farrow, Jasper Conn, and Beckham Miller; siblings, Roger (Wanda) Miller of Walnut Creek, Miriam (Paul) Grossi of Millersburg, Ron Miller of Nashville, TN, and Marcia (Rob) Hawkins of Millersburg. 
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred (Gladys) Miller. 
 
Family and friends may call from 4-7pm Wednesday, June 28 at Martins Creek Mennonite Church – 6111 CR 203, Millersburg, OH 44654. A celebration of life service will be held 4:00pm Thursday, June 29 also at the church, with Pastors Jay Conn and Matt Flinner officiating.
