Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Fraelich Obituary

Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Fraelich, age 76, passed away peacefully to go home to his Lord and Savior on
Tuesday, July 4, 2023, surrounded by the love of his family at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, Ohio.
Jerry was born July 1, 1947, in Millersburg to the late Clyde and Mary (Lowe) Fraelich. On December 30,
1977, he married his loving wife, Peggy "Peg" Morris. He attended Clark school and worked on his
family's dairy farm until he got a passion for driving semis and dump trucks. Jerry was a particular yet
simple man. He loved keeping a neat home, polishing his semi, riding motorcycles, camping, fishing, and
hunting. His family and friends will remember his laughter and fun sense of humor. He truly enjoyed his
family, especially his grandsons—they brought him great joy.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Peggy Fraelich; his daughters, Jackie (Armando Contreras) Fraelich - Murphy.
of Dallas, Texas, Jerri Nicole (Bill) Dials of Clark, Ohio; and Misty (Denny) Fraelich-Clark of Millersburg,
Ohio; his grandsons, Hunter Dials, Cole Dials, and Brexton Clark; a brother Junior (Karen) Fraelich of
Blissfield, Ohio.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his father and mother-in-law, Ken and Clara Morris; a sister,
Carol Leckrone; and a brother, Robert "Bob" Fraelich.
Graveside services will be held at Killbuck Cemetery (298 School Street, Killbuck, Ohio 44637) on
Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM to celebrate life in his honor.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the Holmes County EMS, Pomerene Hospital staff,
and LifeCare Hospice of Wooster for the kindness and care provided to Jerry. The family suggests
memorial contributions be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, Ohio 44691.
