Gary was born March 2, 1949 in Barberton, Ohio and was the son of Roy and Evelyn (Reese) Myers. He was married 30 years to Susan (Coburn) Myers.

 

Gary was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church.

 

Surviving in addition to his wife arer children, Patty Myers, Angie (Jim) McLarnan, Christopher (Teresa) Marks, Daniel Marks, Randall Marks and Emily Rhodes; 11 grandchildren, Maryah, Cody, Zoe, Sabastian, Sydney, Hailey, Chelsea, Brayden, Graham, Maggie and Leslie; 2 great-grandchildren, Rowan and Sadie; and siblings, Dennis, Rick, Kathy, Jenny, Harold and RJ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Michael Myers; a great-granddaughter, Kahlan Brown; and his fur baby, Rusty dog.

 

The family wishes to express a special thank you to LifeCare Hospice, MJ Camacho and Kennyon Connor and to his special caregivers, Gloria Morris, Emily Rhodes, Teresa Marks, Tangie Patterson, Carol Shrewsbury and Helen Holderbaum for all of the love, care and kindness that they gave to Gary.
