Gary L. Brink, age 73, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Saturday evening, April 24, 2021 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1st at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Dale Duncan officiating. Burial will take place at Killbuck Cemetery, Killbuck, Ohio. Gary was born October 2, 1947 in Killbuck, Ohio and was the son of Esther Brink. He married Verla (Smith) Cayhoe and she survives.
Gary was a graduate of West Holmes High School. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Panama Canal. Gary retired from Rubbermaid in Wooster after working 31 years. He was an avid coin and glass collector and had a knack for wheeling and dealing.
Surviving in addition to his wife are stepchildren, Jodee (DJ) Sonney of Georgia and Jennifer (Erik) Grassman of Fredericksburg, Ohio; stepdaughter-in-law, Cindy Cayhoe of Millersburg, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Brent (Kristina) Garver, Brian Garver (Erin Graham), Delbert (Letha) Detty, Brady Maurer,
Drayven Grassman, Izabella Grassman and Natalie Grassman; nine great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Garver, Nathan Garver, Rhian Baker, Kobey Garver, Breklin Garver, Mireya Garver, Fisher Detty, Hunter Detty and Gunner Detty; siblings, Carl (Debbie) Zaugg and Ron (Denise) Zaugg both of Millersburg and Donna (Rick) Greenough of Loudonville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepson, James Cayhoe.
