Francis E. "Bud" Hall, age 93, of Killbuck, Ohio passed away peacefully, Friday morning, March 1, 2019 at Majora Lane Care Center, Millersburg, Ohio following a short illness.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Burial will take place in Killbuck Cemetery, Killbuck, Ohio where Military Rites will be conducted by the Killbuck VFW. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Francis was born March 5, 1925 in Portland, Indiana and was the son of Max and Dona (Ashley) Hall. He was married nearly 60 years to Beverly Johnson, who preceded him in death on January 5, 2015. Francis was a 1943 graduate of Killbuck High School. He was a pharmacist mate, 2nd class in the US Navy, and was a member of the US Naval crew in the American assault forces which invaded France. In 1987, Francis retired from Flxible Gruman Co. He was a member of the Killbuck VFW and was an avid reader.
He is survived by two children, Michael Hall and Valerie (David) Crilow both of Millersburg, Ohio; 4 grandchildren, Bradford Hall, Brian (Alicia) Hall, Brandon Hall and Cody Crilow; 4 great-grandchildren, JB, Tobie, Leo and Natalie; a sister, Sue (Terry) Hall of Millersburg, Ohio; 2 sisters-in-law, Elaine Spangler of Shelby, OH and Patty (Duane) Hastings of West Salem, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly ;and nephew, Allen Gamertsfelder.
