Florence O. Parsons

Florence O. Parsons, age 85, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Aultman Hospital, Canton, Ohio following a brief illness. 
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Ron Richardson officiating. Burial will take place in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Florence was born May 16, 1936 in Scott County, Virginia and was the daughter of Isaac and Lina (Frayzier) Hargis. She married Alvin Parsons and he preceded her in death in August of 2016. 
Florence was a homemaker and a Registered Nurse at a nursing home in Wadsworth. She also worked as a food processor at Nabisco. Florence was a Christian woman. She enjoyed riding bicycles with her daughter, traveling, playing games and she loved playing the guitar. Florence was also a fantastic cook. She will be deeply missed.
Florence is survived by her son, Gary Parsons of Wooster; two grandsons, Corey Parsons and Clifford (Stacey) Parsons both of Pennsylvania; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Joyce Hager of Millersburg; and nieces and nephews, Roger Hager, Cleo Derringer, Patsy Wood, Woody Hager and Jolene Giauque. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin; and daughter, Deborah Parsons.
