Millersburg, Ohio-
Eugenia "Marie" (Arnold) Doretich, 82, went to meet Jesus in the morning on Friday, October 4, 2024 after a brief illness at Aultman Hospital.

She was a daughter of Joseph F. and Helen (Smith) Arnold. She attended St. Vincent De Paul school in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Marie worked at Rodhe's IGA, Castle Nursing Home, Joel Pomerene Hospital, Akro and Dutch Harvest. She was a member of the American Legion, Eagles and SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Glenmont, Ohio. Marie was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Dick and Larry; her sister, Julia; her son, Michael; and a grandson, Alex. 

Marie has remaining siblings: Robert E. (Faye) Arnold of Ashland, Joan Gray of Glenmont, Anne Kochera of Lakeville, and Donald Tom Arnold of Glenmont. She has a remaining sister-in-law, Marylee Arnold of Wooster and a brother-in-law, Charlie Miller of Orrville. 

Marie still communicated regularly with her best friend, Goldee Wallace. 

Marie has six children: Joseph (Renee) Miller of Murfreesboro, TN, Theresa (Mark) Terrell of Chattanooga, TN, John (Renee) Doretich of Danville, OH, Charles (Heidi) Doretich of Millersburg, OH, Jason (Jo Dee) Doretich of Killbuck, OH, and son, Michael Doretich who was deceased at birth.

Marie has 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and has 13 nieces and nephews. 

Marie loved to garden, can fruits and vegetables, crochet, crafting, and collecting: salt and pepper shakers, bells, and apples. She enjoyed watching the Tennessee Volunteers and the birds outside her window. Marie touched many lives and will be missed by all. 

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, October 10th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Father Homer Blubaugh officiating. Burial will take place at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Glenmont.
