Ervin A. Miller 83, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away on April 9, 2026, at Walnut Hills Nursing Home following a period of declining health.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday April 16, 2026, at Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Olson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday April 15th at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Holmes County Dog Warden or to Crossroads Hospice.

Ervin was born January 31, 1943, and was the son of the late Dan E. and Emma (Yoder) Miller. On November 19, 1966, he married Lucy Raber and together they shared over 59 years of marriage. Ervin worked as a truck driver for Sharp Run Dairy and then continued his career driving for Menuez Sand and Gravel. After his retirement he transported members of the Amish community. He enjoyed mowing the lawn and watching the Cleveland Guardians.  He attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Ervin enjoyed fishing with his son and grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, April (Michael) Schonauer and Eric (Leyna) Miller; grandchildren Brice and Adara Schonauer and Dillon, Brayden, and Zoee Miller; brother John (Betty) Miller; sister-in-law Terry Miller, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ervin was preceded in death by his siblings Elizabeth Mast, Mary Currence, Henry Miller, Ruben Miller, Leroy Miller, Daniel Miller Jr, and Marvin Miller.
