Elizabeth “Liz” (Skolmutch) Morris, age 70, of Big Prairie, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice Lifecare in Wooster, Ohio following a courageous battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, August 23rd at Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Cliff Morris officiating.  Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Saturday at the Funeral Home.

Liz was born February 9, 1955, in Massillon, Ohio and was the daughter of Robert and Dolores Skolmutch.  She married Terry Morris, and he survives.  

Liz worked for over 30 years at Scheck’s IGA in Shreve.  She was a member of the SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Glenmont. Liz enjoyed cruises, cooking, and quilting, especially special blankets that she made for each grandchild. She also enjoyed genealogy and was an antique collector.

Surviving in addition  to her husband are her children: Terry (Denise) Williamson of Shreve, Jason Williamson of Columbus, Jennifer (Mitch) Krinke of Wooster, Teresa (Jeremy) Herrmann of West Salem and Lisa (Jonathan) Browning of West Salem; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings: Mike (Peggy) Skolmutch of Canton, Ann (Tom) Lilly of Wooster, Dan (Kathy) Skolmutch of Nashville and Robert (Michele) Skolmutch of Nashville; and numerus nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jeremy E. Morris.
