Edith M. "Edie" (Nester) Fritz

Edith M. "Edie" Fritz, age 74 of Nashville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday morning, November 5th, 2022.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 12th at the Nashville Church of Christ with Brad Dodson officiating. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Nashville Church of Christ, the Disabled American Veterans Foundation, or to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Edie was born October 16th, 1948 in Mendota, Virginia and was the daughter of Willie and Gertrude (Steffey) Nester. On October 1st, 1982 she married Nathan E. Fritz and he survives.
Edie spent most of her adult career in the nursing profession. She was a member of the Nashville Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening and working puzzles. Edie loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her husband.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Nathan are four children: George (Kristen) Fritz of Nashville, Eddie (Tammy) Slone of North Carolina, Debbie Slone of Nashville and Madeline Evon Fritz of Virginia; seven grandchildren: Stephen Dozier, Jeremy Anderson, Tori Anderson, Shawna Slone, Christian Slone, Danica Fritz and Silas Fritz; two great-grandchildren; two brothers: Bill Nester of Plymouth, Ohio and John (Ellamae) Nester of Willard, Ohio; and a sister, Irene (Clayton) Bartow of Plymouth, Ohio.
