Dwight Schonauer Obituary

Dwight Schonauer, of Wooster, died at Smithville Western in Wooster, following a brief illness, on January 3, 2024.  He was born on July 27, 1944 to John and Donna Schonauer. He grew up in Killbuck, and graduated from Killbuck High School in 1962.  

 

After graduation, Dwight went to work for Addressograph Multigraph ini Holmesville.  He later went on to work at the Flexible Co. in Millersburg, and then for Rubbermaid in the Plastics division as a fork-lift operator.

 

Dwight is survived by his son Todd Schonauer (Michael Hulme) of Wilmington, DE, daughter Amy Bermudez (Romeo) of Glen Ridge, NJ, brother Frank Schonauer and sister Marilyn Bucklew and 3 grandchildren (Audrey, Robinson and Jeremy Bermudez). 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, Gregory Schonauer in 1969, three brothers and one sister. 

 

Dwight had a lifelong love of music, especially the old gospel hymns, that he passed onto his children.
