Robert James Anthony, 68, of Millersburg passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, October 16, 2023. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 1, 1955 to the late James and Betty (Charlier) Anthony. He married the love of his life, Janet Hansen on December 9, 1978 and she survives.
Robert “Bob” is also survived his three children Erin (Andy) Haugen, Daniel Anthony, and Michael Anthony; siblings Jim Anthony, Tom (Liz) Anthony, and Carol (Dave) Morley; grandchildren Elin, Beckham, Palmer and Asher; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Sara Jean, and nephews Hudson, Samuel and Aaron.
Bob attended Emmaus Bible College for a year and graduated from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. He then went on to graduate from Medical College of Wisconsin in 1980 and pursued a career in Anesthesia. He worked at Pomerene Hospital and served as the Holmes County Coroner for many years. He thoroughly loved being a grandfather. He had a love of sailing, chess, rocketry, all things math and science and was eager to share them with his community. He professed his love for the savior Jesus Christ faithfully along with the congregation of Faith Bible Church, Robert is now in possession of the glories of Christ.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 Noon on October 28, 2023 at Faith Bible Church, 7384 County Road 623, Millersburg, Ohio. The family will receive guests at the church from 9 AM to 12 Noon prior to the service. A luncheon will follow and all are welcome. In Lieu of flowers, any contributions may be given to Faith Bible Church.
