Dorothy D. Schrock, 61 of Millersburg, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at her home after battling ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

Dorothy was born on July 21, 1963 in Millersburg and was the daughter of Dan S. & Clara Yoder. Dorothy married Brent Schrock on June 9, 1990. Dorothy has been a large part of the Millersburg community working at Killbuck Savings Bank and the Holmes County Treasurer, retiring in July 2024.  Dorothy attended New Pointe Millersburg church and enjoyed working in the Café and spending time with her small group.  Dorothy also loved gardening, cooking for her family and friends, traveling, and spending time with her children.  

Surviving are her husband Brent and their three children, Kara (Ian) Hanna of Millersburg, Drew (Hannah) Schrock of Lakewood, and Alex Schrock and Maddie Dewitt of Millersburg, her parents Dan S. & Clara Yoder of Millersburg, siblings Ervin D. Yoder of Millersburg, Marilyn (Tom) Wengerd of Millersburg, Merle (Lisa) Yoder of Berlin, Brenda (Howie) Hershberger of Millersburg, and Larry (Crystal) Yoder of Ragersville, along with many nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 8th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at New Pointe Church in Millersburg. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, April 9th at 11:00 a.m. at New Pointe Church in Millersburg, with Pastor Dwight Mason officiating. 

The family extends their sincere thanks to the caregivers from Crossroads Hospice and friends who provided meals and company during the past year.
