Donald Dean Pierce, age 61, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 18th, 2020 at his home from natural causes.
A Celebration of Life gathering will take place Friday, February 21st, starting at 1 p.m., at the Aries Eagles in Millersburg. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Alexander Funeral Home, P.O. Box 108, Millersburg, Ohio 44654.
Donald was born April 11th, 1958 in Wooster, Ohio and was the son of Dean P. and Madeline R. (Sampsel) Pierce. He was first married to Alice May Burgett, who passed away August 8th, 2009. He later married Lisa Faye Spratt, who preceded him in death on June 28th, 2003.
Donald was a contractor and operated Your Handyman Service. He was a member of the Kill-um-buck Long Riffle Club and the Aries Eagles of Millersburg. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and going mushroom hunting. He loved building and customizing vehicles and did custom carving and engraving on muzzleloaders.
He is survived by four children, Daniel Pierce of Millersburg, Melissa Pierce of Loudonville, Ryann (Jeremy) Mack of Franklin, Tennessee, and DJ (Melissa) Pierce of Nederland, Colorado; five grandchildren, Nathan, Christian and Slayden Pierce and Constance and Felicity Etzwiler; his mother, Madeline R. Pierce of Wooster; five siblings and their spouses, Robert (Diane) Pierce of Dover, Linda (Jack) Barker of Bandera, Texas , Marvin (Kim) Pierce of Millersburg, Steven (Donna) Pierce of Jeromesville and Ellen (Michael) McFarlane of Jeromesville; numerous nieces and nephews; and his significant other, Jauna Smith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dean P. Pierce.
