Destiny Rae Snyder
June 10, 2002 – April 28, 2025

It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Destiny Rae Snyder on April 28, 2025. Destiny left this world way too soon, but the love, laughter, and light she brought into it will never be forgotten.

Born on June 10, 2002, in Millersburg, Ohio, Destiny was a free spirit from the start. She had a beautiful smile and a heart full of simple joys. She loved trying to find herself, finding pretty rocks to collect, coloring just for fun, hanging out with her friends, taking naps (one of her favorite hobbies), and eating at El Campesino every chance she got. Her laugh could light up a room, and she had a strong, stubborn spirit that helped her through even the toughest times.

Destiny had a playful heart, a quick sense of humor, and a deep strength that showed up when it mattered most. She wasn’t afraid to be herself, and she made the people around her feel like they could be themselves too.

She is survived by her mother, Sheila (Kelly) Larimore, who loved her beyond words; her brother Logan, who she loved teasing and calling "doo doo head"; her sister Sadie, her lifelong companion and best friend; and her little brother Braxton Chaney. She’s also loved and remembered by her bonus family, Mike and Linda Snyder, and many more siblings and close friends who were touched by her life.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at Alexander Funeral Home on Monday, May 5th from 5 to 8 p.m. A private family burial and celebration of Desi’s life will be held the next day at Foxfield Preserve.

In place of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to find something beautiful — a flower, a pretty rock, a sunset — and think of Destiny and all the simple things she loved.

Desi’s time here was too short, but her love, her laugh, and her wild, beautiful spirit will stay with us forever. We miss her more than words can say, but we know her light is still shining.
