Deborah June Troyer, age 71, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Holmes County Home surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2nd at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg, Ohio. Deborah was born on June 13, 1953 and was the daughter of Evelyn M. McGaughey and Garland Ray Buck. She was a 1972 graduate of West Jefferson High School. Deb worked for many years at General Motors and retired from Rexam. She was an avid collector of Beanie Babies. She was a joyful person and loved to entertain the residents at the Holmes County Home with her singing.

Deb is survived by her husband of 36 years, Melvin S. Troyer; children: Shelly (Ross) Baker and Kevin (Heather) McDowell; grandchildren: Caleb (Rachel) Baker, Jessica (Nick) Daum, Philip McDowell, and Emma McDowell; great-grandchildren: Sophia Baker and Ella Baker; siblings: Orvin "Genie" Buck, Mike (Pat) McGaughey, and Mark (Darice) White; step siblings, Paula (David) Hay, Robert (Jamie) Gentzel, Royce (Linda) Gentzel, and Mike (Chris) Brown; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Crist (Holly) Troyer, Mary (Jonas) Yoder, Enos (Lydia) Troyer, Elizabeth Troyer, Susie (Andy) Hershberger, Elmer (Malinda) Troyer, Levi (Martha) Troyer, Ora (Louella) Troyer, and Cora (Melvin) Raber.

She was preceded in death by her parents; mother, Evelyn M. (Don) McGaughey and father, Garland Ray (Pearl) Buck; a stepsister, Rita R. Gentzel - Mitchell; a sister-in-law, Anna (Andy) Troyer and a brother-in-law, Perry Troyer.
