Darrylin "Dee" (Weiss) Kandel

Darrylin "Dee" Kandel, age 76, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 at her home with her son and daughter at her side, following an extended illness. 

Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Chad Stutzman officiating. Friends may call from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Dee was born January 4, 1945 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Darryl and Claire (Moyer) Weiss. She married Howard Kandel and he preceded her in death in 1997. 

Dee retired as a Lab Technician from Pomerene Hospital. She attended New Pointe Church in Millersburg. Dee loved her family, animals and country drives.

She is survived by two children and their spouses, Todd (Jolene) Kandel and Leah (Sean) Graff; six grandchildren, Chelsea (Nate) West, Nicholas (Devon) Kandel, Megan (Wes) Harmon, Ella Graff, Audrey Graff and Alaina Graff; two great-grandchildren, Theodore Howard Kandel and Archer Levi Kandel; two sisters, Penny Weiss and Kathy (Steve) Schmid; many nieces and nephews; and remaining family members on her husband's side, Arlene Yoder, Miriam Miller, Mary Beth Heller, Jerry Kandel and Larry Kandel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Darryl and Claire Weiss; husband, Howard Kandel; and a sister, Wendy Sheely.
