Danna Lynn (Gooding) Butler

Danna Lynn (Gooding) Butler, age 70, of Shreve, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Pomerene Hospital, Millersburg, Ohio with family by her side following a brief illness. 
Private family services will take place at a later date.

Danna was born June 10, 1951 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Raymond and Lori (Connelly) Gooding. She married Robert Butler and he preceded her in death in February of 2011. 
Danna worked several years at Scheck's IGA in Shreve. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, was an avid reader especially loved reading her Bible, enjoyed baking and loved her cat, Moonlight.
She has survived by three children, Marcella (Richard) Derrickson of Massillon, Ohio, Kyle (Tina) Patterson of Nashport, Ohio and Rodney (Patricia) Butler of Shreve, Ohio; three step children, Robert Wayne Butler of Ashland, James Butler of Wooster and Thomas (Emily) Butler of Millersburg; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Raymond "Toby" (Toy) Gooding, Joseph (Cheryle) Gooding and Matthew (Betty) Gooding; and her sister, Christine. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 
Danna was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Mary Tish, Betty Proper, David Gooding and Cathy Phillips.
