Connie Rose (Hammett) Lastohkein

Connie Rose (Hammett) Lastohkein, age 76, of Holmesville, Ohio, passed away June 21, 2023, she has been reunited with the love of her life Alex Lastohkein Jr after 32 years of being apart.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Monday June 26th at the Holmesville Church of Christ with Pastor Willie Parrot officiating.  Burial will follow at the Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio.  Friends may call from 10 to 12 noon Monday at the Church.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Alexander Funeral Home to help defray costs.

Connie was born March 10th, 1947, to Carl Douglas and Violet Ruth (Tarleton) Hammett.  She graduated from Waynedale High School in 1965 and married Alex in June of 1965. She was a loving and devoted mother. She had the kindest, most forgiving heart of everyone that passed through her life. Connie was a member of the Holmesville Church of Christ, and she was the epitome of what a true Christian is.
Surviving are her two children, son Troy D. Lastohkein of Holmesville and daughter Heather M. Lastohkein (Mike Lyons) of Millersburg.  She was the loving grandmother to Erica Schmid of Wooster, Nicolette (Daequan) Lastohkein Benford of Orrville, Alex Lyons and Talan Lyons of Millersburg. Great grandmother to Jaden, Jaxon, Rosealina, Rubianna and Giannis. She loved each of them so very much. She will be missed and has forever played a loving roll in each of our lives and anyone that knew her.
Connie was proceeded in death by her loving husband Alex Lastohkein Jr, her parents, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Alex and Elizabeth (Fry) Lastohkein. Her brother (adopted by her heart) William Vincent and many aunts and uncles. She will be missed and loved by all her friends and family.
