Colton "Round Bale" Aune, age 17, of Holmesville, Ohio passed away Saturday evening, August 24, 2019 from injuries sustained in an accident.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Brad Dodson officiating. Burial will take place in Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio. Colton was born June 5, 2002 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Jacob D. Aune and Mary E. Speck. He was a current Senior at Ashland-West Holmes Career Center. Colton was a die-hard fisherman that never passed up fishing holes. If he thought he could sink a line, he did it. He enjoyed Sprint Car racing, hunting, shooting guns and blowing stuff up.
He is survived by his father, Jacob D. Aune of Nashville; his mother, Mary E. Speck of Shreve; three sisters, Paige, Marissa and Kourtney Aune; paternal grandparents, Dave and Linda Kelley of Holmesville; maternal grandmother, Patty Speck of Nashville; maternal great-grandmother, Mary "Granny" Bridenthal of Nashville; three aunts, Felicia Aune, Dawn Jones and Julie Casey; several cousins; numerous friends; and his best friend, Andrew Lepley.
