Cleveland K Williamson Obituary

Cleveland Kiah Williamson, 70, of Dundee, OH passed on to eternal life on Thursday, January 2, 2025. He was born to Charles Wesley and Martha Jane (Ramey) Williamson on July 28, 1954. He was one of 5 children and was raised to know the love of family and the love of God. He met the love of his life, Crystal Gail (Adkins) in August of 1976 and by October 9, 1976 she became his wife. In the 38 years that they were married they had 3 children. Kristy (Gary) Brooks, Charles (Alison) Williamson, Sr., and William "Billy Kiah" (Brittany) Williamson. 24 grandchildren. Dustin (Kayleigh) Regan, Katelyn Holderbaum (Logan Bersch), MacKenzie Williamson (Laci Chavez), Charles Williamson, Jr. (Peyton Nickels), Madison and Hannah Williamson, Madeline, Rosalie, Esme, Liam, Quinn "Quigley", Freya, Faith, and Erika Williamson, Emilee Maxwell, Chloe, Sparrell, Clayton and Angela Brooks. 4 great grandchildren, Hudson and Henry Regan, Dakota Bersch, and Meredith Mae Renee Williamson. Surviving, along with all of his children, are his precious Mother, Martha Williamson, sisters Charlotte (Donald) Roy, Hope (David) Hatfield, Dreama (Roger) Messinger, Donna Williamson, Helen (Harry) Holderbaum, Carol (Larry) Shrewsbury and brother, David Adkins, Jr. He had a long list of nieces, nephews and greats that he loved just like his own! He was an avid knife and coin collector. He loved to fish and play with his babies. He worked for 30+ years building big trucks! First for Freightliner and then for Gallion-Godwin Truck Bodies. He loved his job and had many friends over the years who loved him! He was a wonderful singer and guitar player with a vocal range from bass to high soprano. He instilled a love for music in all of us. Above all of this, he was a Christian man who raised his family in church. He gave us a love for Jesus and for loving humanity. He would give the shirt off of his back before he would watch his enemy suffer! He was preceded in eternal life by his wife,Crystal, his daddy, Charles, his parents in law, David Adkins Sr. and Isabelle, his brothers, Glen Williamson, Justin St.John, and Clifford Sayre. We will miss you daddy and we will continue to spread your legacy of love until the day God calls us Home! 


Funeral services will be held 12 noon on Friday, January 10th at Gospel Tabernacle, 429 Cleveland Street, Wayne, West Virginia with James Williamson officiating. Burial will take place at the Pres-Friley Cemetery, Kiahville, West Virginia. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Arrangements are being handled by both Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio and Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, West Virginia.
