Carole Swain, age 83 of Walnut Creek, Ohio and formerly of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, March 29th, 2025 at Walnut Hills Nursing Home following a brief battle with brain cancer. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 11th at the Troyer House at Walnut Hills with Pastor Eric Miller officiating. 

Carole was born March 19th, 1942 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of Richard and Lois (Frantz) Swain. She attended Philadelphia College of the Bible. Carole worked 44 years in Brazil's Amazon Jungle translating the New Testament in the Ninam language and later retired in the Walnut Hills community. She was a member of Mercy Hill Church in Berlin. 

She is survived by her brother, Harris (Laurel) Swain of Millersburg; niece, Kelly (Brian) Guistwhite of Etters, Pennsylvania; and a great nephew, Alexander Guistwhite of Etters, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
