Carol June Halfhill

Carol June Halfhill, age 89, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away at her home on Friday, October 13th, 2023 surrounded by her precious family.

Carol was born July 3rd, 1934 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Paul and Edith Pearl (Carter) Snyder Sr. She first married Lloyd Kaser and he preceded her in death on October 28th, 1975. She later married Jay Halfhill and on April 4th, 2014, he also preceded her in death. She is now reunited with her two loves and will be laid to rest between them both.

Carol lived her entire life in Millersburg, Ohio. She was a homemaker that loved her family more than life itself. She was a very private person and enjoyed reading. Carol was a member of the Millersburg Christian Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Tom) Vaughn of Millersburg; two grandchildren: Brandi (Andy) Burt of Pataskala, Ohio and Cari (Chris) Toigo of Plain City, Ohio; four great-grandchildren: Cameron, Carter and Parker Burt and Kate Toigo; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Svaboda of Indiana. She is also survived by step children: Raymond Halfhill, Sandra  Krotz (Don), David (Lorry) Halfhill; many step grandchildren and great grandchildren; and finally "Louie" her daughter's golden doodle. Carol's steadfast companion and protector for her last weeks, days, and hours of her life

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Lloyd Kaser and Jay Halfhill; and her two sons: Gary Kaser and Randy Kaser.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to LifeCare Hospice for all of the compassionate care that was given to Carol. Also a special thank you to her nurse, Sarah for the love, care and support that she gave to Carol and her family during these final days.
