Byron D. Fruehling, age 62, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away suddenly.
Written by his messy wife of 40 years. Service will be held at Millersburg Methodist Church at 5:00pm on Mon, February 22, 2021. No calling hours due to covid.
Byron Fruehling, born March 26, 1958, in Circleville, Ohio went to Heaven on Tues, Feb 16, 2021. He & his wife, Laura Fruehling have 3 children; Beriton, Brighton, and Lenzil, & 3 grandkids. He was the youngest brother to Robert and Doug, parents, Betty & Dale Fruehling.
Byron was my Felix and I, his Oscar. If you catch me wandering without purpose, know I’ve lost my Felix, my husband, my Byron. Losing him I’ve lost all his organizational skills. Yes, we were truly an Odd Couple.
It didn’t matter that he was raised as a non-dancing Nazarene, he still loved his music. You’d catch him driving in his car on a beautiful day listening to songs from the White Stripes, The Beatles, or his ultimate favorite - U2.
He showed our kids how to be kind and caring. To show love with patience and a listening heart. Our kids counted on his soothing voice and warm hugs. When God put it on his heart, he’d stop and say to his children “I love you”, “I’m proud of you”, & “Just don’t forget to breathe.”
Byron loved to play with his 3 grandkids. He’d dress up in silly outfits, play catch, and chat on walks.
After work, we’d enjoy a favorite dish & without hesitation, he’d say, “Now, where else would we find another meal like this?” Calling it a night, we’d watch a silly no-stress show & Byron would enjoy one of his favorite desserts.
He was full of love and full of music. Most of all he was fully our favorite man in the world and he’ll be missed so very much.
