Betty L. Nelson

Betty L. Nelson, age 75, of Holmesville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at LifeCare Hospice, Wooster, Ohio following a decline in health due to a current illness.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, August 16th at Killbuck Cemetery, Killbuck, Ohio.

Betty was born May 7, 1945 in Killbuck, Ohio and was the daughter of Walter and Mildred (Hoxworth) Carpenter. On May 9, 2006 she married Kenneth J. Nelson and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2019. 
Betty was a graduate of Killbuck High School. She retired from McDonald's in Millersburg after working nearly 20 years. Betty loved her dogs and taking a cruise and enjoying nature.
She is survived by three children, Bonna (Doug) Straits of Millersburg, Brandy Martin of Millersburg and Brandon (Morgan) Martin of Wooster; eight grandchildren, Bristan Martin, Becca Chanay, Luke Morris, Devin Coblentz, Chandler Kendall, Samantha Kendall, Kyler Martin and Aisley Martin; two great-granddaughters, Brenna Horn and Ella Kendall; three siblings, Junior (Betty) Carpenter of Killbuck, Jack (Karen) Carpenter of Killbuck and Beverly (Robert) Starner of Millersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Becky Martin.
