Betty J. Miller

Betty J. Miller 88, of Killbuck, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Thursday February 19, 2026, at the Holmes County Home, surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Tuesday February 24, 2026, at the Killbuck Church of Christ with Pastor Rik Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Killbuck Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday February 23rd at Alexander Funeral Home or one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Holmes County Home 7260 OH 83 Holmesville, Ohio 44633, or Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare 1900 Akron Rd Wooster Ohio 44691.

Betty was born July 27, 1937, in Richland Township, Ohio and was the daughter of Theodore and Nellie (Stricker) Smith. On January 22, 1960, she married Charles A. Miller Sr, and he preceded her in death on June 21, 2012. Betty was celebrated for her pies, each made completely from scratch. She passionately supported the Cleveland Indians and remained a dedicated member of the Killbuck Church of Christ throughout her life. Caring for her grandchildren brought her great joy.

Betty is survived by her children, Ed (Marchele) Miller, Deborah Cooper, Pamela (Greg) Glassford, Charles A. “Chuck” (Rosemarie) Miller; grandchildren Tonya Baker, Todd Miller, Nichole Shriver, Erika Moore, Derick Cooper, Danielle Cooper Scott, Byron Glassford, Ryan Glassford, Kayla Chaney, Marcus Glassford, Kennady Miller, Sage Taylor; great-grandchildren Hayden and Jalynn Baker, Devin and Paxton Miller, Charlie, Chet and Chelsie Cooper, Peyton, Jerron and Paisley Scott, Clayton, Mady, Bryson, Remi and Jaxon Glassford, Henley Taylor, Averi and Eden Moore; sister Linda Rahe; brother Charlie Lanning and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Jack, Bill, Melvin, Marvin, Ed, and great-grandson Matthew Miller.
