Benjamin Franklin (“Frank”) Giauque Jr,

 Benjamin Franklin “Frank” Giauque Jr, age 84 of Killbuck, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 22, 2023 after an extended illness. He was at his home surrounded by his loving family. 

Frank was born in Millersburg, Ohio on January 1, 1939 and was the son of Benjamin Franklin Sr. and Martha Bell (Fortune) Giauque.  He was the youngest of 11 children. On July 2, 1971 he married Delores “Dollie” Johanna Jensen and they shared a life of partnership and love. She proceeded him in death on August 31, 2018. 

Frank loved the Lord and was a member of Berlin Christian Fellowship Church.  He was a farmer at heart and loved working outdoors his entire life. Frank was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He had a great sense of humor and ability to make others laugh. He will be greatly missed by many. 

He is survived by his six children: David Giauque of Brinkhaven, Sharon Gilley of Killbuck, Karen (Chris) Nienhuis of Michigan, Pamela (Timothy) Conn of Mansfield, Darletta Giauque of Millersburg, and Deborah (Nathan) Bell of Killbuck; 9 grandchildren: Adam Nienhuis, Benjamin Giauque (Kristen), Melissa Cronin (Kevin), Brian Giauque (Bobbi), Clarissa Zamecnik (Justin), Amanda Rigdon (Ryan), Makayla Giauque, Natasza Bell and Victoria Bell; several great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. 

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife, 10 siblings, granddaughter Elizabeth Smith (Carl) and daughter-in law Barb Giauque. 

Funeral services will be at Berlin Christian Fellowship Church. Services were coordinated through Pastor Brad Olsen of Berlin Christian Fellowship Church. Sharing will be Pastor Nathan Madison, Pastor Tim Troyer, Bernie Torrence, and James Yoder who have served in Frank’s spiritual journey.  Burial will take place at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. His family welcomes you to attend the ceremonies at Berlin Christian Fellowship Church. Calling hours will be March 24th from 6pm-8pm and Funeral services will be Saturday March 25th at 10am.
