Barb Barnhart, age 72, of Glenmont, Ohio passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at Clearwater Beach, Florida following an extended illness.

 

A private graveside service will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Ken Smailes officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 12th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Barb was born April 23, 1951 in Akron, Ohio and was the daughter of Robert and Minnie (Jergens) Haudenschild. She married Eric Barnhart and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2023.

 

Barb was a 1969 graduate of Loudonville High School. She enjoyed drawing, painting, camping and she loved taking Jeep rides.

 

She is survived by her son, Dave (Wilma) Nelson of Wooster, Ohio; granddaughter, Whitney Nelson (fiancé, Zac Campbell) of Wooster; and two sisters: Pat (Richard) Rose and Faith Hites.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings: Grace Mellinger, Jim Haudenschild and Robert Haudenschild.
