Atlee E. "Yowser" Stutzman, age 86, of Wooster, Ohio was reunited in heaven with his wife on Saturday, July 28, 2018 following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Church of Millersburg with Perry Caruso officiating. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg, Ohio with military rites being conducted by both the Killbuck VFW and the Millersburg American Legion. Atlee was born March 21, 1932 in Mt. Hope, Ohio and was the son of Elmer E. and Mary (Yoder) Stutzman. On December 17, 1960 he married Mary E. Berner and she preceded him in death July 26, 2014.
Atlee worked 46 years for Emmanuel Mullett and the Holmes Limestone Company. He was a member of St John's Church of Millersburg. Atlee was a proud veteran of the US Army, stationed in Germany from 1957 to 1959 and was a member of the Millersburg American Legion. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed collecting antiques and gardening, and loved attending any and all activities of his children and grandchildren.
Yowser is survived by children; daughter, Jody (Tim) Frye of Wooster, Ohio and son, Matthew (Lisa Gonzalez) Stutzman of Millersburg, Ohio; four grandchildren, Andrew Frye, Abigail Frye, Clay Stutzman and Jordan Stutzman; in-laws, Harold Stutzman of Bolivar, Ohio, Cliff (Bobby) Berner of Wooster, Ohio, Dave (Deb) Garver of Lakeville, Ohio and Rich (Robin) Spade of Wooster, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Sarah (Dan) Hershberger, Amanda (Ben) Weaver, Roy (Lucille) Stutzman, and Levi (Lucetta) Stutzman.
