Allen Thomas Ward

Allen Thomas Ward, age 72, of Holmes County, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 4th, 2020 at Pomerene Hospital, Millersburg, Ohio following a brief illness.

Private graveside services will take place at Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio. A memorial service with military rites will take place at a later date. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by visiting www.alexanderfhinc.com.

Allen was born January 27th, 1949 in Barberton, Ohio and was the son of Willard and Alice (Conrad) Ward. 

Allen was a Corporal in the Marines during the Vietnam Era. He worked for Rubbermaid in Wooster. Allen enjoyed antique car shows, playing the guitar, working on TVs and computers and he loved trains.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Lisa (Donald Stallard) Shank of Ontario, Ohio and Dustin (Rachelle) White of Port St. Lucie, Florida; grandchildren, Sean Ward, Allison and Samuel Shank and Breanna and Cassandra White; step-grandchildren, Michael and Jared Whitman; great-grandson, Blaise Michael; two brothers, Mike Conrad of Indiana and Brian Ward of Akron, Ohio; and two sisters, Debra Rourke and Pam (Allen) Durell both of Dalton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Thomas Ward; and his best friend, Richard Shoenfelt.
