Obituary
Allen D. Schie, age 74, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Pomerene Hospital, Millersburg, Ohio following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday April 14th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Dale Duncan officiating. Burial will take place at Fryburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and also one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Allen was born July 4, 1948 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Richard Dean and Burgetta (Giauque) Schie. On August 24, 1973 he married Ruth Ann Schlabach and she preceded him in death on December 22, 2015.
Allen retired from Troyer's Trail Bologna. He was a member of the Classic Cruisers car club. Allen enjoyed going to different car shows and drinking coffee at Jitter's every Saturday.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Schie of Millersburg; siblings: Bill (Linda) Schie of West Lafayette, Jeff (Debbie) Schie of Texas, Barb Baughman of Coshocton, Laura (Ron) Haile of Columbus and Sandra (Mark) Hunt of Port Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Ruth.
