Albert N. Troyer, 83, of Berlin, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, peacefully at his home.
He was born on December 18, 1942, to the late Noah J. and Ella (Miller) Troyer. On August 31, 1968, he married Jennifer Ann (Atwell) Troyer, who survives.
Albert was an active member of Martins Creek Mennonite Church in Berlin along with his wife Jennifer for 57 years, where he built many lasting friendships and served in numerous ways over the years with a joyful heart. He worked at All Ohio Buildings in Millersburg for 28 years and at Melway Paving for 23 years, where he truly enjoyed serving the community through his work.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Steven (Jennifer) Troyer of St. John VI, Darian (Andrea) Troyer of Berlin, and Jeremy Troyer of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Bailey (Shawn) Erb and Daisy (Corbin) Troyer; great-grandchildren, Maverick and Parker Erb, and Mila Troyer; and sisters, Mary Troyer, Esther Wengerd, and Emma (Eli B.) Yoder.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy Troyer, Ray Troyer, and Alvin Troyer; and his sister, Katie (Mose) Wengerd.
Services will be held on Monday, April 27, at 11:00 a.m. with viewing from 10-11am at Martins Creek Mennonite Church, 6111 CR 203, Millersburg, Ohio, with Pastor Jay Conn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, April 26, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Martins Creek Mennonite Church.
