Aimee Monique Cheree Drake Obituary

Aimee Monique Cheree Drake, age 53, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 28, 2024.

Aimee was born February 4, 1971 in Wooster, Ohio. She was the daughter of Reginald and Joy (Frederick) Drake and was helped raised by her aunt and uncle, Merry and Jerry Shaffer. As a young adult she was baptized at Glenmont Church of Christ. Aimee was a 1989 graduate of Loudonville High School. One of her favorite jobs was working for Habitat for Humanity. She was a social member of the Killbuck VFW Post 7079. Aimee was an avid Ohio State football fan and Cleveland Browns fan. She was an animal lover, enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. She also enjoyed renovating houses and considered herself an unlicensed Carpenter.

 

She is survived by her mother, Joy Drake of Killbuck; her siblings: Stephanie McFadden of Dundee, Melissa Southall of Parkersburg, West Virginia, and Jamie Drake-Myers of Cleveland; numerous nieces and nephews; three aunts; Gay Wolfe (Harold), Mary Shaffer, and Sherry Frederick-Fortune (Jim); and her good friend, Stan Coakley of Layland.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Reginald Drake; grandparents, Norma and Galen Frederick; four aunts; three uncles; and her uncle, Joseph Frederick.
