Aaron James "AJ" Casey

Aaron James "AJ" Casey, age 18, of Shreve, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 18th, 2023 due to injuries sustained in a single automobile accident. 

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Sunday, November 26th at 1:30 p.m. at the American Legion in Shreve. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by visiting www.alexanderfhinc.com.

AJ was born May 22, 2005 in Wooster, Ohio and was the son of Aaron Casey (Kerilynne Blevens) and Brook (Tyler) Leighty. He previously attended the Wayne County Schools Career Center. AJ enjoyed BMX riding, racing, hunting, fishing, and working on cars. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his friends.

Surviving an addition to his parents are his three siblings: Autumn Casey, Jaera Shepler and Keaton Conner/Winkler; his paternal grandparents: Diane Casey and Bruce Nommay; his maternal grandparents: Vera Conner (Kevin Finical), Donald (Shelley) Conner and Tracy (Joey) Blanton; his second family whom he loved as his own, Michelle Baughan (Scott Woodruff) and Charles Casey; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Randy Casey.
