Robert Lewis Spahr

Robert Lewis Spahr, age 88, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Friday morning, October 25th, 2019 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home, Millersburg, Ohio following a period of declining health.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg, Ohio with pastor Matt Rowe officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Killbuck VFW and the Millersburg American Legion.

Robert was born February 18th, 1931 in Holmesville, Ohio and was the son of Mentor and Lucy (Patterson) Spahr. On November 21st, 1958 he married Patricia Ann Fisher, she survives.
Robert was a Car Salesman. He owned and operated Holmes Auto Sales for 25 years. He also worked for Borg-Warner and the Timken Company. Robert was a member of the Millersburg First Christian Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army. Robert was a member of the American Legion and the breakfast morning crew at Birdie's and Rodhe's. He enjoyed Civil War and World War II history, hunting, trapping and the outdoors. Robert loved traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. 
Surviving in addition to his wife Patricia are two daughters and their spouses, Connie (James) Magee of Grove City, Ohio and Cindy (Don) Weiss of Edison, Ohio; five grandchildren, Molly (Taylor) Blankenship, Michael Magee, Colleen Magee, Emma (Justin) Beck and Nicholas Weiss; one great-grandson, Daniel Beck; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Frank Spahr, Evelyn Shenk, Earl Spahr and Herbert Spahr.
