Richard Harold Cox Jr, age 57, of Lakeville, Ohio passed away Friday August 24, 2018 at his home following a period of declining health.

Richard was born April 6, 1961 in Toledo, Ohio and was the son of Richard Harold and Colleen (Idema) Cox Sr. He had a great passion for John Deere tractors, enjoyed sitting on his porch and being outdoors with his beloved dog, Blacky.
He is survived by three children, Jessica Cox of South Carolina, Michelle Schlegel of Wooster, Ohio and Ricky Cox of Mansfield, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jacob Pattison, Quenton Pattison, Shane Pattison, Aden Avila, Asher Schlegel and Axton Schlegel; five sisters, Susan (Bernard) Bell, Loretta Hopkins, Barb (Terry) Sparr, Joanne (Rick) Meyers, and Karen Conkle; numerous nieces and nephews; his first wife, Lisa Caldwell of South Carolina; and his second wife, Edna Gardner of Coshocton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Cathy Reynolds; and his wife, Sherilyn Rising-Cox.
