Nancy K. Brenly, age 63, of Baltic, Ohio went to be with her Savior, Saturday, December 30, 2017 at her home surrounded by family. She put up a courageous battle with Leukemia for 3 1/2 years.
Funeral services will be 3:30 PM Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Reverend Robert Angel officiating. Burial will take place in Shepler Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 3:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions be made to LifeCare Hospice or to the Shepler Church. Nancy was born December 17, 1954 in Coshocton, Ohio and was the daughter of Wells and Edna (Conkle) Patterson. She was a 1973 graduate of West Holmes High School. Nancy married Gerald "Jerry" Brenly on June 30, 1973 and they spent 44 wonderful years together. She worked at Fair Drugs in Millersburg for 15 years, took care of her father, then worked at Commercial & Savings Bank for 19 years. She was a member of Shepler church, where she taught the children's class and was Church Treasurer.
She leaves behind her husband; one son, Jerrod (Cassie) Brenly; a special grandson, Devin; sisters, Wanda Goerz and Kathy (Rex) Ward; brothers, Gerald Patterson and Benny (Louise) Patterson; and numerous very special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wells and Edna Patterson; in-laws, Otto and Pearl Brenly; two brothers, Robert and Dennis Patterson; and a brother-in-law, Bill Goerz.
