Marie Ellen (Arnold) Lyons

Marie Ellen Lyons, age 61, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home, Millersburg, Ohio following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Burial will take place in Killbuck Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Marie was born March 28, 1958 in Mt Vernon, Ohio and was the daughter of William Ward and Ada Bernice (Mellor) Arnold. On June 30, 1979 she married Rob Lyons and he survives.
Marie was a 1977 graduate of West Holmes High School. She worked as a teacher's aide for Head Start and was a homemaker. Marie enjoyed doing crafts and word search puzzles. She loved animals, the outdoors and working with children.
Surviving in addition to her husband are five children, Amanda Marie Lyons (Todd Misura) of Millersburg, Joshua Jackson Lyons of Millersburg, Robert Edward Lyons II of Seattle, WA, Gabriel Ward Lyons of Bancroft, WV and Keisha Renae (Michael) Kanuckel of Killbuck; three grandchildren, Nikolai Ambrose Misura, Sasha Parker Misura and Thomas Bombadil Kanuckel; and three siblings, Sharon (Ron) Hoxworth of Killbuck, Randy Arnold of Lakeville and Becky (Brett) Young of AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stillborn daughter, Laura Bernice Lyons.
