Leroy Andrew Baker, age 85, of Killbuck, Ohio went home to be with the Lord, Monday, January 21, 2019 at Majora Lane Care Center, Millersburg, Ohio with family by his side. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Killbuck Valley Christian Church with pastors Dale Duncan and Joe Milazzo officiating. Family burial will take place at Baker Ridge Cemetery. Andrew was born August 22, 1933 in Beatrice, West Virginia and was the son of Wesley R. and Mary (Eddy) Baker. On August 12, 1951 he married Lou Henri Feight, and she survives. Andy was a graduate of Killbuck High School's class of 1952. He was an oil driller ever since he was 17 years old and was self-employed at Bakerwell Inc. He was a member and Elder at Killbuck Valley Christian Church. Andy was a devoted Christian and loved attending church. He was a passionate Ohio State fan and loved watching and attending his sons sports activities. In his retirement years, he enjoyed fishing and mowing 20 acres at the church every week. When he wasn't working or fishing, he loved to put puzzles together and he also loved picking on his grandchildren and great grandchildren "TOOT!" For the past 22 years he and his wife enjoyed spending winters in Port Lavaca, Texas. Surviving in addition to his wife are five sons, Jeffrey (Debbie Alexander) Baker, William (Nell Menduyk) Baker, Roc (Bonnie Barnhart) Baker, Rex (Joni Carter) Baker and Rusty (Claudia Rozuk) Baker; siblings, Paul (Lura) Baker and Wilma Randles; sister-in-law, Dorlene Baker; grandchildren, Jason, Mary, Bree, Mara, Billie, Beau, Charlie, Dustin, Denise, Bethany, Brant, Brock, Molly, Rebbie, and Andy; 30 great grandchildren; and 45 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Timothy Baker; and siblings along with their spouses, Roscoe (Kathryn) Baker, Flavil (Gladys) Baker, Freeda (Mike) Robison, Thelma (Delburn) Lamp, Leona (Jack) Hoyman, Delores Lamp, and Perry Baker.
